Auditions

Auditions for the 2013-2014 Chamber Strings and Sinfonia will be held Tuesday, May 28, 4:15 pm at the Fine Arts Center.

We are still taking Philharmonic and YAO auditions for selected instruments.  Please fill out an online application and we will get back with you.

Young Artist Orchestra - our most advanced ensemble, most members are high school aged, though exceptional middle school musicians may be admitted. YAO performs standard orchestral masterworks as well as contemporary compositions. We are continuing to hold auditions on a one-on-one basis as needed.

 The Philharmonic - an intermediate / advanced symphony orchestra comprised of middle through high school aged musicians who display considerable talent, training and ability and are capable of performing repertoire of Grade IV-V.We are continuing to hold auditions on a one-on-one basis as needed.

 Sinfonia - an intermediate-level honors ensemble for middle and high school aged musicians.  Sinfonia is a full symphony orchestra that includes winds, brass and percussion as well as strings. They perform grade 3 literature. Please fill out an application.

Chamber Strings (formerly Sinfonia Chamber) - an early intermediate-level ensemble for middle school musicinas that can perform grade level 2 literature, with an emphasis on technique building through repertoire.  Please fill out an audition application.  

 Junior Sinfonia -  is the advanced-beginner honors ensemble.  Students audition in January to participate in this strings-only ensemble.  that meets the second half of the school year..
