Greenville County Youth Orchestra consists of four orchestras that meet late afternoons and evenings. GCYO's 2008-2009 season features three Young Artist Concerts at Dorothy Gunter Theater, two School District orchestra concerts held at Wade Hampton and Carolina high schools, the Middle School Orchestra Festival, and concert trips to Atlanta, Georgia and Vienna, Austria. GCYO will showcase seven of its members as soloists and will premier a work by Fine Arts Center Alumnus Alex Wroten.

Membership in the Greenville County Youth Orchestras is by audition only. General auditions are held each year in March and April. We still have openings for our upcoming season! If you are interested in auditioning please click the button below for more information and an online application.
