Mrs. Caprell received her B.A. from Converse College in Spartanburg South Carolina. She is a private voice and piano teacher and the voice teacher in the South Side Private Musicians program at Southside Christian School. She is also the music director at First Presbyterian Church in Simpsonville. Holly has held numerous administrative positions over the years including; financial administrator at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsport Tennessee and interim financial secretary at First Presbyterian Church in Greenville. While in Tennessee she was very active on the board of the Kingsport Symphony Orchestra and was president and sectional conductor of the KSO Chorus.
Holly lives in Simpsonville with her husband Jim who is Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Simpsonville. Their oldest son Owen is attending the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music as a trombone major. Their younger son Josh, a student at Southside Christian School and the Greenville County School District’s Fine Arts Center, is the principle timpanist with GCYO and Foothills Philharmonic.
